The Grant at Woodlawn Park and Buffett Place have been selected as finalists for Affordable Housing Finance Magazine’s (AHF’s) 2014 Readers’ Choice Awards for the Nation’s Best Affordable Housing Developments. The Grant, developed by Preservation of Affordable Housing, is the second new construction phase of the multiyear revitalization effort for the former Grove Parc Plaza Apartments in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side. Buffett Place, developed by Brinshore Development and Thresholds, is a model supportive housing development for people with disabilities and mental illness who are at risk of homelessness.
